Daphney Mnisi

I’m an energetic, open minded and diligent dietitian passionate about helping my clients to
become knowledgeable about nutrition in order to make informed and practical decisions in
regards to their diets. I am a client centred dietitian because I know that breakthroughs in my
client’s lives can be met when I listen to my clients and meet them where they are at.
I completed my honours degree in dietetics at the University of Pretoria in 2021, after which I
completed my community service at Jubilee Hospital in Hammanskraal. My community service
experience has shaped me to be adaptive, accommodating and innovative.
I work with a diverse range of clients and my special interests are in women’s health, child
nutrition, mental health and non-communicable lifestyle conditions (Diabetes, High
cholesterol, High blood pressure, osteoporosis and gout), where I use the food first approach
to improve nutrition and overall health.

Nkhensani Shibambo

My name is Shibambo Nkhensani Silvetra, a girl born and raised in a rural village in Limpopo. But my background does not define who I wanted to be. I am a Registered Dietitian and a graduate of the University of Pretoria. I graduated in 2021 with an honours degree in Dietetics, and then in 2022 I served as a community dietitian at Malamulele hospital where I was born. This was a way to give back to my community. I worked as a clinical dietitian and gained experience in the therapeutic treatment of patients.
My love for dietetics and nutrition, and my passion to help people achieve optimal health and well-being guided my decision to practice privately. This does not just embrace independence but growth and leadership.
I am open-minded with a practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively. I am interested in learning more and working more to enhance myself as an individual and my goal is to provide the best and committed in my field of work and to serve the public and the community and individuals with honesty and integrity. I aim to further pursue my studies starting with a Master’s. I have a special interest in Diabetes.
